Here at Hooking Housewives, we are all for promoting awareness for all kinds of diseases.  When one of the teachers from a local elementary school approached me about making something to donate to an auction the school is holding to support Relay for Life, we were immediately willing and ready to help.  With such a crazy schedule these days, I wanted to do something that was relevant to the cause but wouldn't take long to make.  Thanks to our friend Heidi Yates, creator and owner of Snappy Tots, we had access to the Wrapped in Hope Scarf.  The weather here along the Alabama/Floriday Gulf Coast has finally turned cold so we are hoping that this scarf will bring in big bucks to help the cause.

If you're interested in this pattern to make one for yourself, as a gift, or to donate to charity, you can get it for free here
